De l\u2019orientation \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e en formation. De l\u2019action de formation \u00e0 la sortie jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019insertion professionnelle. Les acteurs impliqu\u00e9s dans la FPC, tels que les financeurs, les prescripteurs, les r\u00e9seaux d\u2019accompagnement, les organismes de formation, les \u00e9lus, les cadres techniques, les dirigeants, les \u00e9quipes p\u00e9dagogiques et les apprenants, sont tous concern\u00e9s par cette question.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019engagement rev\u00eat \u00e9galement un enjeu \u00e9conomique, comme l\u2019a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019un des t\u00e9moins de cette enqu\u00eate : \u00ab En tant qu\u2019organisme de formation, notre chiffre d\u2019affaires est directement li\u00e9 au fait que nos stagiaires aillent au bout de leur formation \u00bb. Cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 en fait un objet de travail strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, malgr\u00e9 la connaissance scientifique existante, la transversalit\u00e9 de ce sujet le rend complexe \u00e0 appr\u00e9hender. Comment caract\u00e9riser cette notion ? Sur quelles dimensions et d\u00e9terminants agir ? Comment tenir compte de l\u2019engagement dans un dispositif de financement ? Sur quelle base instruire ou \u00e9valuer cette dimension dans un projet ? Autant de questions qui rendent ce sujet difficile \u00e0 traiter.<\/p>\n<p>Afin d\u2019apporter un nouvel \u00e9clairage sur ces questions, nous avons entrepris cette d\u00e9marche exploratoire. L\u2019objectif n\u2019est pas de produire de nouvelles connaissances tant elles sont nombreuses sur ce th\u00e8me, mais plut\u00f4t de mettre en \u00e9vidence la mani\u00e8re dont le sujet de l\u2019engagement est per\u00e7u et d\u00e9fini par un panel d\u2019acteurs de la formation. Nous pr\u00e9sentons ici notre analyse, qui vise \u00e0 caract\u00e9riser ce sujet, \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer sa compr\u00e9hension et \u00e0 fournir une grille de lecture commune. Ces premi\u00e8res utilisations possibles de notre travail exploratoire appellent \u00e0 une suite, comme c\u2019est souvent le cas dans ce type de
